James Wilsdon

James Wilsdon is Professor of Research Policy at University College London. He works on innovation governance and the relationship between evidence and decision-making. James is the co-founding director of the Research on Research Institute, which aims to accelerate the transformation of research systems and cultures. In addition to academic posts at the universities of Sheffield, Sussex and Lancaster, James has worked in think tanks, NGOs and as director of science policy for the Royal Society, the UK’s national academy of sciences.
